Frequently Asked Questions

HAIR BOTOX

WHAT IS HAIR BOTOX?

Hair botox is an intensive treatment that deeply repairs the hair. It goes all the way to the cortex of the hair, which is rare on the market. It also treats the scalp and porosity. Hair botox helps restore maximum moisture lost over time. It is a rejuvenating treatment for hair that restores suppleness and shine.

HOW LONG SHOULD THE ROYAL HAIR BOTOX BE RE-done?

It all depends on your styling habits. The more damaged your hair is (bleaching, flat iron, etc.) the more often the treatments must be carried out. The maximum allowed without overloading the hair is every 8 weeks. In general, it is advisable to redo when the seasons change.

CAN HAIR BOTOX CHANGE COLORS?

IT DEPENDS! In general, original botox does not change hair color. Platinum botox for blondes neutralizes yellow/gold tones. The regular (white) formula never turns blondes yellow. Very porous hair or hair with fairly pigmented colors may fade.

ORGANIC botox can make hair pale.

HOW TO MAINTAIN THE ROYAL BOTOX TREATMENT?

It should be understood that after an intense treatment like Royal you should avoid continuing to treat the hair at home, this causes overload and can harm the condition of the hair.

Avoid all its ingredients in products for a minimum period of 2 months:

  • keratin
  • proteins
  • amino acids

Since hair needs hydration or nutrition, only moisturizing products are okay after botox. Any restorative or reconstructive products should be avoided for the duration of hair botox since it is nutrition.

  • Royal has several nutrition-free moisturizer products ideal for maintaining treatment at home.

CAN HAIR BOTOX TREATMENT MAKE HAIR WORSE?

NO BUT... poor maintenance of the treatment can harm the condition of the hair. Nutrition (protein, keratin and amino acids) should be avoided for a period of 2 months.

For what? Because there is one. maximum nutrition that hair can absorb and hair botox practically gives the maximum. So, for a period of 2 months you should only give hydration.

COLORING/BLEACHING PROCEDURE

If you want to dye or bleach your clients' hair, it is best to do it BEFORE hair botox.

If you have done the botox first and want to dye it, it is best for the client to wash her hair 2-4 times before doing the dye so that the dye does not slip off the hair.

Bleaching after hair botox risks removing the effects of the treatment.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REGULAR AND ORGANIC BOTOX?

ORGANIC hair botox does not contain any formaldehyde or derivatives. It is safe for children and pregnant and breastfeeding women.

On the other hand, it can slightly wash out the colorings.

Regular botox contains very little formaldehyde (0.01%) which is 20x less than Health Canada approves.

It is therefore not recommended for pregnant women and children.

THE TEXTURE OF THE HAIR BOTOX HAS BECOME LIQUID IS IT NORMAL?

This can happen on occasion, especially when the ambient temperature is warmer or the pot is exposed to sunlight.

Rest assured, the product maintains its same effectiveness. You can place it in the refrigerator for a few moments so that it regains a thicker texture.

MY CUSTOMER DID NOT COMPLY WITH THE MAINTENANCE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

She must immediately stop using products that are not compatible with hair botox so as not to make her hair worse.

Hair botox should not be redone before the required period, i.e. 2 months.

DURING THE PROCEDURE, CAN I AVOID THE FLAT IRON?

NO! After rinsing, always use a flat iron to ensure that the product is properly sealed and the scales closed.

However, you can use it at low temperature and few passes.

NANOPLASTY

WHAT IS NANOPLASTY?

This is a natural straightening, without formaldehyde, which controls frizz and softens curls.

This treatment does not suffocate the hair like other Brazilian straightening, it rather smoothes from the inside while hydrating the fiber.

HOW LONG CAN WE REDO NANOPLASTY?

Royal Nanoplasty treatment lasts 3 to 6 months. It is possible to redo it every 3 months.

CAN NANOPLASTY CHANGE HAIR COLOR?

This is not automatic for all clients but it can often cause colors to fade. Especially highly pigmented colors.

HOW TO MAINTAIN NANOPLASTY?

To maintain the nanoplasty treatment at home, it is necessary to avoid nutrition to the hair (protein, keratin and amino acids).

Royal has several home products for easy maintenance that are moisturizing and nutrition-free.

Maintenance must be respected for a minimum period of 2 months.

You should avoid salt (chlorine and sea salt) throughout the treatment as well as products with sulfate because it is abrasive for the hair.

WHEN CAN YOU DYE HAIR?

If you wish to bleach the hair, it is best to do so BEFORE nanoplasty.

If you want to dye your hair, it is best to dye it AFTER nanoplasty, i.e. after 2-4 shampoos following the treatment.

Bleaching after nanoplasty risks removing the effects of the treatment.

CAN YOU STILL STRAIGHTEN HAIR?

YES! Nanoplasty softens the curls but does not stiffen them. The hair will remain very malleable and can be styled as desired.
