CAN MULTIPLE ROYAL PRODUCTS BE COMBINED IN THE SAME ROUTINE?

Of course! All ROYAL products are designed to work together in synergy. For example, you can use the Oil Control Shampoo, Platinum Mask, and Hydrating Conditioner.

CAN ROYAL PRODUCTS BE USED WITHOUT HAVING HAD A HAIR TREATMENT FIRST?

Absolutely! Our products are perfect for everyday use, with or without a hair treatment. They help maintain the long-term health, softness, and hydration of the hair.

ARE ROYAL PRODUCTS COMPATIBLE WITH HAIR EXTENSIONS?

Yes! Hair extensions require hydrating, protein-free products to help prevent damage.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS WITH ROYAL PRODUCTS?

After the first few uses, you will often notice softer, shinier hair that is easier to style. Deeper benefits, such as reduced breakage and stronger hair, become noticeable after a few weeks of regular use.

WHY DO ROYAL MAINTENANCE PRODUCTS NOT CONTAIN PROTEINS?

ROYAL maintenance products are protein-free to prevent buildup, which can make the hair dry, brittle, or stiff. They are formulated to gently hydrate and protect the hair on a daily basis. While proteins can be beneficial for the hair, too much protein can have the opposite effect and cause damage. The challenge with protein-based products is that it can be difficult to know when the hair has reached its saturation point.

INTENSIVE TREATMENT

WHAT IS AN INTENSIVE TREATMENT?

The Intensive Treatment, better known as hair botox, is an intensive treatment that deeply repairs the hair. It works all the way to the hair cortex, which is rare on the market. It also treats the scalp and hair porosity. Hair botox helps restore the maximum hydration lost over time. It is a rejuvenating treatment for the hair that restores softness and shine.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD THE ROYAL INTENSIVE TREATMENT BE REPEATED?

It depends on your styling habits. The more damaged your hair is from bleaching, flat irons, and other factors, the more frequently treatments may need to be performed. To avoid overloading the hair, the maximum recommended frequency is every 8 weeks. In general, it is recommended to repeat the treatment with the change of seasons.

CAN THE INTENSIVE TREATMENT CHANGE HAIR COLOR?

IT DEPENDS! In general, the Original Botox does not change the hair color. Platinum Botox for blondes neutralizes yellow and golden tones. The regular white formula will never turn blonde hair yellow. Very porous hair or highly pigmented color may fade slightly.

HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN THE ROYAL INTENSIVE TREATMENT?

It is important to understand that after an intensive treatment like ROYAL, you should avoid continuing to treat the hair at home, as this can cause buildup and affect the condition of the hair.

Avoid the following ingredients in your products for a minimum period of 2 months:

  • keratin
  • proteins
  • amino acids

Since the hair needs hydration or nourishment, only hydrating products are recommended after the botox treatment. Repairing or reconstructing products should be avoided for the duration of the hair botox treatment, as they provide additional nourishment.

ROYAL offers several hydrating, non-nourishing products that are ideal for maintaining the treatment at home.

CAN THE INTENSIVE TREATMENT MAKE THE HAIR WORSE?

NO, BUT... improper maintenance of the treatment can affect the condition of the hair. Protein, keratin, and amino acids should be avoided for a period of 2 months.

Why? Because there is a maximum amount of nourishment that the hair can absorb, and hair botox provides almost the maximum amount. Therefore, for a period of 2 months, the hair should receive hydration only.

COLORING AND BLEACHING PROCEDURE

If you wish to color or bleach your client's hair, it is best to do so BEFORE the hair botox treatment.

If you have already performed the botox treatment and want to color the hair, it is best for the client to wash their hair 2–4 times before coloring so that the color can properly adhere to the hair.

Bleaching the hair after a hair botox treatment may remove the effects of the treatment.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE REGULAR AND BIO INTENSIVE TREATMENTS?

BIO hair botox contains no formaldehyde or formaldehyde derivatives. It is safe for children and for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

However, it may slightly fade hair color.

Regular botox treatments contain a very small amount of formaldehyde (0.01%), which is 20 times less than the amount approved by Health Canada.

It is therefore not recommended for pregnant women or children.

THE TEXTURE OF THE INTENSIVE TREATMENT HAS BECOME LIQUID. IS THIS NORMAL?

This can occasionally happen, especially when the ambient temperature is warmer or when the jar is exposed to sunlight.

Rest assured, the product remains just as effective. You can place it in the refrigerator for a few moments to allow it to return to a thicker consistency.

MY CLIENT DID NOT FOLLOW THE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

She should immediately stop using products that are not compatible with hair botox to prevent further damage to the hair.

Hair botox should not be performed again before the required waiting period of 2 months.

DURING THE PROCEDURE, CAN I SKIP THE FLAT IRON?

NO! After rinsing, you must always use a flat iron to ensure the product is properly sealed into the hair and the cuticles are closed.

However, you can use it at a lower temperature with fewer passes.

NANOPLASTY

WHAT IS NANOPLASTY?

It is a natural smoothing treatment, free of formaldehyde, that controls frizz and softens curls.

Unlike other Brazilian smoothing treatments, this treatment does not suffocate the hair. Instead, it smooths from within while hydrating the hair fiber.

HOW OFTEN CAN NANOPLASTY BE REPEATED?

ROYAL Nanoplasty lasts 3 to 6 months. It can be repeated every 3 months.

CAN NANOPLASTY CHANGE HAIR COLOR?

It does not automatically affect every client's hair color, but it can often fade color, especially highly pigmented colors.

HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN NANOPLASTY?

To maintain the nanoplasty treatment at home, it is important to avoid nourishing the hair with proteins, keratin, and amino acids.
ROYAL offers several at-home products to make maintenance easier. They are hydrating and free of nourishing ingredients.
The maintenance routine should be followed for a minimum of 2 months.
Salt, including chlorine and sea salt, should be avoided throughout the duration of the treatment, as well as sulfate-containing products, as they can be abrasive to the hair.

WHEN CAN THE HAIR BE COLORED?

If you wish to bleach the hair, it is best to do so BEFORE the nanoplasty treatment.
If you want to color the hair, it is best to do so AFTER the nanoplasty treatment, after 2–4 shampoos following the treatment.
Bleaching the hair after nanoplasty may remove the effects of the treatment.

CAN THE HAIR STILL BE STRAIGHTENED?

YES! Nanoplasty softens the curls but does not make the hair completely straight. The hair will remain very malleable and can be styled as desired.
